biographical/sketch of mayor fmq

even as a child, fmq, had a burningdesire to help the plight of the poor growing in poverty, he met poverty,eye to eye.born to visayas parents,his father a mechanic,and his mother a public school teacher.fma,lived in common life,but not quite commonas it tught him the noblest of goals that is giving unselfish service.one childhood experince that burned forever. in his memory was a picture of a playmates including himself.wearing torn shirts and shorts.that the tender age he resolved to help the poor.when he grew up little fmq,know the childhood experience his knowlegde of muslim culture,his intellect and leadership skills would someday become the cornerstone of dreams and hopes to build to free people from poverty. fmq,was born oct 4,1955,in dansalan,now marawi city.grew up in lanao and speak fluently maranao,ilonggo,chavacano and cebuano.gifted with a sharp mind he graduated in elementary class valedictorian,second honorable mention in highschool(lasalle) and cum laude in economics at san carlos university.all throught,he supported himself thru schlarship and evensharing half of stipend to education of his brothers and siters.
